Overview of the GEM Range

You demand the best from your hi-fi system, so why compromise on the rack? The Futureglass GEM range provides innovative, vibration-managed support for hi-fi separates and other audio equipment. This technologically-advanced audio storage solution features precision-engineered components and an innovative push-fit system that effectively smothers vibration, taking sonic performance even further.

GEM, short for the Futureglass Generated Energy Management system, is designed to meet the highest demands of the dedicated audiophile. Itís engineered with precision from stainless steel and glass components that make your rack an integral part of the quality hi-fi experience. At the heart of the GEM system is an innovative push-fit system of construction. The support tubes dock precisely on to pre-bonded stainless steel bosses. The connections are sealed and silenced by special O-rings. The GEM system of decoupled joints is both sonically efficient and visually attractive.

GEM features vibration management from the ground up. Floor standing points are engineered from stainless steel to diminish vibration. The spikes minimise the contact area with vibration-laden floors, while optional spike cups provide a vibration-free interface. The bosses and supporting columns are isolated from each other by a double set of vibration-deadening O-rings, creating a sturdy platform with no room for movement between components. The special O-rings on each joint prevent vibration travelling through the support or between each level.

Futureglass takes the GEM solution one step further with the option of 8.4mm Acoustilamô glass for GEM Separates. Acoustilam is formed with an interlayer of highly-effective vibration-deadening PVB within the structure of the glass. Any airborne vibrations are removed by this vibration-absorbing layer which stretches across the whole of the glass, not simply the uprights.

Futureglass GEM Hi-Fi is an audio storage solution designed in the UK by glass furniture specialists who really understand music. GEM offers an innovative solution that isnít just technically advanced, itís also great to look at. The stainless steel and glass components create a minimal appearance and the cleanest lines of any hi-fi rack on the market. This contemporary design looks great in any room setting.
